Dr. Persephone Doupi is a Senior Medical Officer at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), Finland, where she works on health informatics, data governance, and digital health. Her work spans electronic health records, personalised applications of health IT, quality and patient safety, patient registries and biobanks, health technology assessment, public health policy, and cross-border healthcare services and infrastructures.

Markus Kalliola is a Programme Director in the Future Well-being Solutions programme at the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra. He is the coordinator of the Joint Action Towards the European Health Data Space 2 (TEHDAS2) and the Value from Nordic Health Data (VALO) projects.
Both projects aim to support the successful implementation of the European Health Data Space regulation.
Prior to joining Sitra, Mr. Kalliola worked at the European Commission’s DG SANTE, where he was responsible for cross-border healthcare IT projects. He has extensive experience in the data economy, and in the coming years, his work will focus on contributing to a healthier and fairer data economy for Europe.
Mr. Kalliola also holds positions of trust on multiple advisory boards related to digital health.

Silvia Llorente has been a Computer Science Engineer since 1998, having graduated from the Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona (FIB) at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She received her PhD in 2004 from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF).
Her professional career has combined both academia and work in private companies. She has held a professorship in the Computer Architecture Department at UPC since 2006. Previously, she worked as an assistant professor at UPF while also working in private industry.
Her research topics have evolved around different aspects of security, privacy and access control. She initially applied these topics to multimedia content, and nowadays applies them to health-related digital content, also considering genomic information.

Dr. Igor Bossenko is a Research Fellow in the Department of Software Science at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). He holds a PhD from TalTech, where his research focused on domain-specific frameworks for semantic interoperability in health information systems.
Dr. Bossenko’s research specialises in HL7 FHIR standards, clinical data transformations, terminology server optimisation, and decentralised personal health data spaces. He is the principal architect of the TermX platform and actively contributes to national healthcare digitisation projects.
