All submissions must be formatted according to the IOS Press guidelines for the series Studies in Health Technology and Informatics. Please consult the IOS Press book article instructions before preparing your submission: IOS Press book article instructions.
Submissions must be made through the official MIE 2027 submission system. The submission link will be added here once available.
Final versions of accepted papers and posters must be submitted in Word format.
Non-compliance with formatting requirements may lead to rejection.
The official language of MIE 2027 is British English. Submissions must be written in English. Submissions in other languages cannot be considered for review.
Authors are responsible for the quality of language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Non-native English speakers are encouraged to seek professional editing or peer review prior to submission.
Values should be reported in the International System of Units (SI).
Abstract length: All submissions must include an abstract of no more than 500 words.

Presentation: 60-minute session including audience discussion
Demonstrations (1–3 pages)
Presentation of practical solutions, tools or systems
Structure: Title, Topic, Description of the demonstration
Presentation: 20–30 minutes
Tutorials (3 pages)
Educational sessions delivered during the pre-conference
Structure: Topic, Format, Target group, Learning objectives, Expected outcomes
Presentation: 3-hour session
The Scientific Programme Committee encourages balanced representation among speakers and inclusive participation.
For tutorials, a minimum number of participants may be required for the session to take place.
At least one author of each accepted submission must register for the conference.
Each accepted submission requires a separate registration. Failure to comply may result in removal from the programme and proceedings.
